Some were told they started too late. Some felt overwhelmed by reading music. Others took lessons years ago and left feeling discouraged. But I truly believe piano can be learned by anyone when it is taught in a clear and simple way.

A Lifelong Musical Journey
Surrounded by music from birth, Becky began playing piano by ear at age 8 and started formal lessons at age 12. Guided by a dedicated instructor, she began teaching at just 14 years old.

She later founded Becky’s Piano Studio in Channelview, Texas—an acclaimed program that grew to five teachers and 100–125 students, hosting large annual recitals. Students frequently sought Becky for chord-based playing, improvisation, playing by ear and developing musical confidence.

After relocating, Becky continued her teaching career at Deerbrook Mall in Humble, Texas, becoming Yamaha Music Education System certified and leading group electronic-keyboard classes.
